ENTS Configuration

In order to successfully upload data to your endpoint, you must provide a valid logger ID so that your endpoint can identify the source of the data being uploaded. You can register a logger and obtain a logger ID by logging in to your endpoint, navigating to your profile's "Loggers" page, and creating a logger. The "ENTS Identity Information" provided at the top of this ENTS Configuration form can be used for the DevEUI, JoinEUI, and AppKey.

The cell ID specifies which cell on your endpoint that the uploaded data belongs to. You can create a cell and obtain a cell ID by logging in to your endpoint, navigating to your profile's "Cells" page, and creating a cell.

To determine the cell ID of a previously created cell, you can either (1) check your profile's "Cells" page if you are the owner of the cell or (2) open the cell on your endpoint's data visualization dashboard and identify the cell ID located in the URL.

Multiple loggers may upload to the same cell ID.

WiFi is recommended for short range indoor (lab) environments.

LoRa is recommended for long range outdoor (field) environments. LoRa requires a nearby LoRaWAN gateway, such as the Sentrius RG191.

Sensor measurements and data uploads will occur every interval you set here.

The minimum recommended interval is 10 seconds.

Name of the WiFi network for the ENTS board to connect to.

Password for the WiFi network. Leave blank if no password. Check the "Use previous password" box to reuse the last entered password.

Address that the ENTS board will send data to. This is typically: http://your-ents-backend-instance-here.com/api/sensor/

If your endpoint uses a non-standard port, append it to the end of the URL: http://your-ents-backend-instance-here.com/api/sensor/:12345
